Below are some common reactions that children and adolescents may display after being exposed to trauma. If your child has been exposed to a traumatic experience or event, seek help from a mental health provider.

Young Children (1-6 years)

• Helplessness and passivity; lack of usual responsiveness
• Generalized fear about many things
• Heightened arousal and confusion through fear and anxiety
• Cognitive confusion, seeming distracted, unable to focus or give attention
• Difficulty talking about event; lack of verbalization
• Difficulty identifying feelings or being aware of them
• Nightmares and other sleep disturbances
• Separation fears and clinging to caregivers
• Regressive symptoms (e.g., bedwetting, loss of acquired speech and motor skills)
• Inability to understand death as permanent
• Anxieties about death
• Grief related to abandonment by caregiver

The universal desire that preoccupies a human heart is the desire to look good, a desire to look beautiful. We all know the story of Snow White; her step mother turned jealous of her good looks and wished to look the same. This made her turn to evil ways, but fortunately today we don’t have to turn to evil methods just to look more and more beautiful and remain the same for a longer time. Time and again beauty and remaining beautiful has been the top most wish of every person. Many of you might be the lucky ones to have the best of looks and sharpest features, those nice big eyes, glowing skin, striking features you must be one of those who have got it all, but maintaining these features then would have become your priority now.

Many people have good looks but as time passes the signs of ageing start to appear on everyone. The factor of ageing makes our beauty fade away a little time and again. Many researchers around the world have done researches on this segment and have proved that most women after the age of 27 get stressed because of the fading of their beauty.
